Velvety beef brisket and sausage are signature items, and the smoky succulence of the turkey breast makes for guilt-free indulging. Sides, like the sweet potato souffle and jalapeno chili beans, are outstanding and plentiful. Creamy banana pudding provides a little Southern comfort.

Heady sides set this barbecue joint apart from the rest: smoked corn relish, sweet and meaty baked beans, and cream-cheese-stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon. Parking can be tough to find.
It’s a cross between a mountain lodge and a sports bar. The hook is Rocky Mountain-style barbecue, dating back to a smoker fashioned from a piece of the famous pipeline. There’s nothing out of the ordinary, but it’s done well.
